Who’s going to watch my film, that’s the question I had when fumbling around with Facebook ads or boost or whatever the hell it’s called. After running a small marketing campaign I realized I could add specific movies to the audience makeup. Then it hit me, my audience is me, plus or minus about five years. So I started plugging in films that I love that kind of relate to the film. That has to work! Also digging into the numbers it seems that Facebook live is also a good way to engage the audience. I’ve done one with the actors during the table read and it was the biggest post I’ve had as far as engagements.
I’m still in the middle of the campaign so don’t know if making these changes will help but in a few days if I’ll see if my hypothesis is correct.
